This is because Valve has recently announced a new stat tracking service for the game where if you’re willing to fork out $1 a month, you’ll be able to get stats about your games. According to Valve, “For those of you that want to continue collecting your official Competitive and Wingman stats (or those of you that didn’t participate in Operation Broken Fang but want to try out the stats feature), you can now subscribe to CS:GO 360 Stats for $0.99 per month. It includes access to the CS:GO 360 Stats page as well as your team’s Round Win Chance report in Competitive and Premier game modes.”
If this sounds familiar, it is because Valve already offers stat tracking for its other games such as Dota 2 in the form of Dota Plus, a $4 a month add-on (which also includes other perks), so it doesn’t come as a surprise that it is now available for CS:GO, although in this case it is cheaper at just a dollar a month.
We won’t necessarily say that having access to your or your team’s stats will guarantee you’ll become better players, but if you feel it might help, then why not? More information about the CS:GO stats can be found on this Steam support page.
