However, the good news is that it actually fits rather nicely. This is according to a report from MacRumors which compiled various reviews of the new iPad Pro and found that based on the reviews so far, the last-gen Magic Keyboard actually fits, but it is a bit of a snug fit.
One review, by Engadget, notes that the keys on the keyboard does press into the display of the iPad Pro when closed, meaning that if you plan to use it with a thicker screen protector, you might run into issues, but otherwise, most of the reviews did not find any problems closing the keyboard case shut.
If you are planning on buying the new iPad Pro and have the last-gen Magic Keyboard accessory, you don’t have to rush out to replace it anytime soon. Just give it a try and if you decide that it might be a bit too snug for your liking, then maybe invest in the newer model, or maybe one of the alternative third-party options that are a little more affordable.
