On the surface, the Samsung Smart Keyboard Trio 500 looks like a regular low-profile wireless keyboard. However, it comes with a button that lets you use the keyboard with Samsung’s DeX interface. For those who are unfamiliar, DeX is basically an interface that turns compatible Samsung phones into desktop-like operating systems, meaning that you could use your smartphone as a computer.
It’s a pretty useful feature to have on a keyboard, although we’re not sure if it might necessarily be enough to convince people to buy it. However, there are other features that might make one consider it. This includes the likes of custom hot key assignments to favorite apps, wireless connectivity, and also the ability to pair with multiple devices at once and switch between them with a single click.
It’s a simple keyboard with pretty useful features and while pricing and availability have yet to be announced, we expect that Samsung should have more details on the 28th of April at its Galaxy Unpacked event.
