Smartwatches can be expensive if you want the higher-end models with all the fancy hardware and features, but if you just need the basics, then you might be pleased to learn that Nubia’s RedMagic Watch is now available for purchase in the US, UK, and Europe where it is priced at a relatively affordable $100.
There are many smartwatches around but at $100, the RedMagic Watch is a rather compelling option. We’re looking at a smartwatch with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a 454×454 resolution. It includes a heart rate sensor, blood oxygen monitor, and also the ability to track/monitor your sleep. There is also a built-in GH3011 sensor for activity and body monitoring.
All in all, it sounds like it does what most smartwatches can do but at a much more affordable price. There are 16 different sports modes included with the watch so you can track yourself as you perform those sports. It also seems to be catered towards football as there is a feature called football dynamic mapping.
In terms of battery, the RedMagic Watch seems to be quite a beast. Nubia claims that the watch will last up to 15 days on a single charge which is very impressive. It is also water-resistant and has straps that are interchangeable. More info on the watch and where to buy it can be found on the company’s website.
