For the past few years, Netflix has been releasing new seasons for their Castlevania animated series. For those who are looking forward to the next season, you will be pleased to learn that Netflix has announced the release date which is currently set for the 13th of May. However, the company also announced that this will be the final season in the series.
If you have been a fan and are sad to see the series end, don’t be. This is because according to a report from Deadline, they are reporting that apparently Netflix is still very interested in the Castlevania universe and could be looking to launch a new series that will feature a brand new cast of characters.

As it stands, the current version of Castlevania is based on the main characters from the video game, the ones that most gamers are familiar with. However, the spin-off suggests that we could be looking at Netflix trying to expand on the Castlevania universe, although details on that are scarce at the moment and we imagine that Netflix will probably wait until the series is over before they officially announce something.
