So what makes this so special? According to Mophie, what makes this power bank so unique is the fact that it can actually be used to jump start your car’s batteries. Like we said, most power banks are pretty “boring”, but this one actually seems like it could be useful for those times your car’s battery might be dead and you need a jump start to take it to the mechanic.
It’s not necessarily the smallest power bank we’ve seen, but it is pretty rugged and in addition to being able to jump start a car, it also comes with a 29.9Wh internal battery, two USB-A ports, and also a built-in floodlight that can be used at night if you’re trying to find something or if you need some extra light to connect the power bank to the car to jump start it.
The Mophie PowerStation Go Rugged Compact isn’t necessarily the cheapest power bank we’ve seen at $100, but given its features, it might actually be worth it. For more information or to purchase it, head on over to Mophie’s website.
