As you can see in the image above, the design of the speaker has been created in such a way to mimic a book. This means that it can sit on your bookshelf and blend in with the rest of your books and no one would be the wiser. As expected from a Bang & Olufsen set of speakers, the Beosound Emerge features the use of luxurious materials like oak, knitted fabric, and aluminum.
The speakers will also feature touch controls that have been built into the top of it where users can control playback and volume. The Beosound Emerge has also been designed with modularity in mind, where users can easily access the connectivity module that will let you keep upgrading the speaker for years to come.
In terms of connectivity, users can look forward to options such as AirPlay 2 and Chromecast, and the built-in microphone will let you use it as a smart speaker with Google Assistant. As for pricing, it doesn’t really come as a surprise to learn that it is priced at $699 for the Black Anthracite model, and $899 for the Gold Tone version.
