This is why many are highly anticipating the redesign, but now it looks like we might have to wait a bit longer than previously expected. It was initially rumored that the redesigned MacBook Pros could be launched mid-year which is when production was said to be slated, but a report from Nikkei Asia claims that the date has since been pushed back.
According to the report, the new date for the upcoming redesigned MacBook Pros has been pushed to the fall of 2021. In a way it doesn’t really surprise us. This is because mid-year is usually more software focused with WWDC, while the later part of the year is more about hardware like the iPhone and potential Mac refreshes, so in this instance, we can’t say we’re too surprised.
However, since nothing has been officially confirmed yet, for all we know the mid-year dates might have never been true to begin with, but for now, don’t get your hopes up at seeing the redesigned MacBook Pros in the coming months.
