If you feel like you need the practice, you’re in luck because Microsoft has since announced that they will be bringing its Presenter Coach to its desktop and mobile version of PowerPoint. For those unfamiliar, Presenter Coach is basically a presentation practicing tool that was available on the web version of PowerPoint, but now Microsoft has expanded it to cover more platforms so you’ll be able to practice even if you’re on the move.
For those who haven’t used it before, it listens to your presentation as you’re giving it and will give you feedback on what it hears, so for example it might warn you if you’re using too many filler words, or if you’re simply reading off the slide (which is a big no-no), if you’re going too fast or if you’re going too slow.
It’s a pretty useful feature so if you do give presentations every now and then, this could be a feature that will be worth looking into for the next time.
