However, a later report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said that the date was wrong, which left us wondering when will Apple’s event be held? Now according to the latest rumor courtesy of reliable Chinese leakster, it seems that Apple’s event has been set for the 23rd of March, which is a week after the previously-rumored date.
Now, there is no guarantee that this date is real either. We do know that as far as events are concerned, Apple hosts at least two confirmed events a year – WWDC, which takes place mid-year, and an iPhone event that is usually reserved for the later part of the year. The company does host other events at the start and towards the end of the year centered around iPad and Mac refreshes, but so far nothing official has been announced.
If this March 23 date is true, then we expect that Apple should start handing out invites and reminders for the event either this week or the next.
