That’s what Samsung seems to think is possible as they have since launched a “Buy and Try” program for its Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold 2 foldable smartphones. Samsung typically has a 15-day return window for its smartphones, but by extending it to 100 days, they are hoping that by living long enough with its foldables, it might convince you that it could be money well-spent.
Of course, during this 100 day period, the phone isn’t technically yours yet unless you decide you want to buy it, which is why Samsung has outlined its terms and conditions regarding that the device must be in when you return it. According to Samsung, this means that your device “must have no breaks or cracks, or other defects that go beyond normal wear and tear, including but not limited to: multiple scratches, dents, or dings; evidence of water damage; or corroded charging port, SIM, or battery terminal contacts.”
If this sounds like an offer you’d like to take Samsung up on, it is currently available on Samsung’s website where you have until the 1st of April to sign up for it.
