There have been rumors suggesting that Apple could have new iPads in the works with mini LED displays, and also that there could be a new AirTags tracking accessory. So the question is, when will these products be announced? Turns out it could be in the next few weeks, or so the latest rumors are claiming.
In a report from Taiwan’s Economic Daily News, they claim that Apple could be planning an event for the 16th of March 2021, which means that it’ll only be a few weeks until we get the official word on these new products. While nothing has been confirmed yet, it does seem to be in line with what Apple has done in the past.
Apple typically hosts several events throughout the year, with one usually taking place in the early part of the year before WWDC. This event is typically reserved for refreshes to the iPad lineup, and sometimes it also covers products like Apple’s Mac computers. So even though nothing has been confirmed, it wouldn’t really seem like that much of a stretch.
The last time Apple refreshed the iPad Pro it was back in the early part of 2020. The refresh back then wasn’t particularly substantial, which we’re sure some fans might not have been too pleased about, but hopefully this upcoming refresh will be a much bigger one. Either way, check back with us in the coming weeks where hopefully we’ll have something more concrete to share with you.
