If you’re wondering why the name sounds familiar, it is because it seems to be the international version of the Redmi Note 9 5G that was previously launched in China. Specs-wise, it appears to be almost the same which means that we can look forward to a 6.53-inch 1080p IPS LCD screen, a MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset, 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of storage.
The phone will also sport a triple camera setup on the back, which includes a main 48MP f/1.8 Quad-Bayer sensor, and two 2MP sensors, which is slightly different from the China model that comes with an ultrawide camera, but all in all, it’s still pretty decent when you think about how much the phone costs.
Xiaomi will be selling the phone with an early bird special pricing at €199 and €249 for the 64GB and 128GB models, but after that, it will go up to €229 and €269 respectively, which all in all is still pretty affordable.
