That being said, is the design of Windows getting a bit long in the tooth? Could it be due for a design overhaul? According to WindowsLatest, they have spotted a job listing at Microsoft in which it seems to suggest that the company is looking to develop a new version of Windows that could come with some major design changes.
According to the listing, which was listed in October 2020 and has since been edited, “On this team, you’ll work with our key platform, Surface, and OEM partners to orchestrate and deliver a sweeping visual rejuvenation of Windows experiences to signal to our customers that Windows is BACK and ensure that Windows is considered the best user OS experience for customers.”
Like we said, the job listing has since been edited where the company has removed references to the “sweeping” overhaul. In any case, we suppose change isn’t necessarily a bad thing but when exactly will we see this version of Windows remains to be seen.
