However, it seems that maybe that partnership could be ending because according to reports, it appears that LG’s 4K UltraFine displays are no longer listed in Apple Stores across Europe. The displays were previously listed as being out of stock and have been that way for a while, but now it looks like users can’t even search for it, although do note that this seems to mostly apply to Europe, and even then not all countries.
It is unclear what this means and whether or not it could be an indication that Apple will start phasing out the availability of the device, or if it could simply mean that they don’t expect stock anytime soon and have taken down the listing so that customers will stop asking about it. However, at the same time we should point out the coincidence in the timing.
There was a report from last week that suggested that Apple could actually have a new monitor in the works. The company had previously launched the Pro Display XDR that was clearly aimed at professionals thanks to its exorbitant price tag, but the latest rumors are suggesting that this new monitor will be cheaper and will be more of a true successor to the Thunderbolt Display.
