The rumors are saying that Apple is expected to introduce a new iPad in the coming months. This could include the iPad mini, the 9th gen iPad, and also the iPad Pro which could be getting a mini LED display. Now thanks to CAD renders obtained by MySmartPrice, we might have an idea of what the iPad Pro 2021 could look like.
Note that the renders are for the 11-inch model, but given that the difference between the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pros are only the display size, there’s a good chance the larger model could look similar. That being said, the renders show that the 2021 models will look similar to the previous design, except that Apple will be introducing a new dual camera module that looks the same as the ones Apple uses for the iPhone 11 and 12 models.
Other than that, at least on the surface, nothing else appears to be different. Under the hood is a different story because like we said, one of the rumors is that Apple is expected to introduce the use of mini LEDs for the iPad Pro lineup. We also expect that the new iPads will get an upgrade in its chipset, possibly a variation of the A14 Bionic that debuted with the iPhone 12 and also the fourth-gen iPad Air.
We have heard rumors that apparently Apple could be looking to introduce its M-series chipsets to the iPad lineup, but we’re not sure if it will debut with 2021’s models or if it could be future models, if at all, so take it with a grain of salt.
