When it comes to smart bulbs or lightstrips, you might think of brands like Philips or LIFX, but it seems that the folks at Nanoleaf want to challenge those companies as they have since announced a new smart light bulb and also a new smart lightstrip that will complement the company’s existing products.
For those unfamiliar, Nanoleaf is probably best known for the smart light panels. These panels are flat pieces of LEDs that can be attached to a wall and come in various shapes, so that users can create unique-looking designs, all the while being able to control them using their smartphones.
In concept, Nanoleaf’s smart bulb and lightstrip offer up pretty much the same thing, except that you now have more options to choose from on how you want to illuminate your home. The best part about these offerings is that they’re also quite affordable. The Nanoleaf Essentials Bulb will be priced at £17.99, while the Nanoleaf Lightstrips starter kit that comes with a 2m lightstrip is priced at £44.99, while the expansion pack that comes with an additional 1m lightstrip will cost £19.99, and all of these lights will not require users to have a hub.
The new bulb and lightstrip will be available from Nanoleaf’s website and also the Apple Store.
