Redesigned M1 14-inch, 16-inch MacBook Pros In The Works

At Apple’s event yesterday, the company unveiled a brand new M1-powered 13-inch MacBook Pro. While the internals have changed, the exterior design of the laptop seems to have remained the same, where it sports the same keyboard and also the inclusion of a fingerprint sensor and the Touch Bar.

For those who might be bored with the current design, you’ll probably want to hold off on your purchase. This is because according to the reports, it seems that come 2021, Apple will be introducing a brand new design for their laptops. This will include a 14-inch MacBook Pro and also a 16-inch MacBook Pro.

Apple introduced a 16-inch MacBook Pro back in 2019, but they have yet to update it with newer Intel processors, but it seems that there could be a reason behind it, and that is Apple might be holding off until they can introduce a new design and also the new M1 ARM-based chipset.

We’re not sure if Apple plans to refresh the M1 in 2021 with a possible M2, so that remains to be seen. Also, we’re not sure if Apple will differentiate between the Pro and non-Pro models with variants of the M-series chipset, so we’ll have to wait and see, but until then, take it with a grain of salt.
