CD Projekt Red has yet to officially announce anything, but a well-known leakster by the name of Tiffany Treadmore has posted a cryptic tweet in which it was suggested that the game could be facing yet another delay where it could push the launch of the game into 2021. For those unfamiliar, Treadmore has been pretty accurate with their leaks, where they had previously confirmed the cancellation of E3 2020 ahead of the official announcement, and also the existence of Half-Life Alyx before Valve’s announcement.
Uhhhhhhhhhhhh…
So, what if #Cyberpunk2077 gets delayed….. Again.
Like what if it doesn't launch this year.Like uh until 2021.
…
Just asking….. #cyberpunk

This stands to reason that the tweet about another delay for Cyberpunk 2077 could be accurate, although it’s still probably best taken with a grain of salt for now. The game has been delayed multiple times where it was originally planned for an April 2020 release, before it was pushed to September, and again to November, and then to December.
While we can appreciate developers taking their time to polish the game, the fact that the game has been plagued by multiple delays is sure to raise some eyebrows, but like we said, until an official confirmation can be had from the developers, take it with a grain of salt.
