How true are those rumors? Turns out that they might be right on the money because it seems that Apple has hidden an AR easter egg in the logo of the event invite. As you can see in the video below, it shows that if you were to activate the logo using AR, you will see the logo lying flat on a surface before it stands up, similar to how a laptop’s lid is opened.

This seems to corroborate the claims that the event will most likely see Apple announce new Apple Silicon laptops. Of course, nothing is a given and the AR easter egg could be nothing more than just a fun animation that Apple decided to hide in its invite, but at the same time, it’s not a complete stretch to think that it could be indicative of something more.
For starters, Apple had only just refreshed its iMac so it seems unlikely that they will be refreshing it again so soon. Plus there are also reports that Apple is working on a redesigned and smaller Mac Pro that will most likely debut in 2021 or later, which means that save for the Mac mini, the most likely candidates for this event will be the company’s MacBook lineup.
