Robocalls are annoying as hell and are a waste of our time, but unfortunately they do happen from time to time. If you’re irritated by these incessant calls which are spam and you own a Samsung Galaxy Note 20, you’re in luck. This is because Samsung has since rolled out a new feature called Smart Call.

This is basically Samsung’s own take on protection against robocalls. This will let them block and report robocallers when these calls come in. This new tool is powered by a company based in Seattle called Hiya that offers caller and business profile services and have worked with Samsung in the past, but this new partnership with Smart Call will see that partnership extend to 2025.

While the feature is being rolled out to the Galaxy Note 20, Samsung does state that they do plan to eventually roll it out to older Samsung flagship handsets as well. That being said, it should be noted that Smart Call isn’t necessarily the only tool that users have at their disposal when it comes to robocalls.

Carriers have also introduced similar protections on a network scale, so if you’re not a Samsung user, don’t worry about that because there are alternative solutions out there if you are having a hard time dealing with robocalls.
