With the new BlackWidow V3, Razer claims to have introduced what they are saying are improved key switches that will be available with either the Razer Green switches or the Razer Yellow switches. The former will be a clicky switch with an audible click whenever you press down on it, while the latter is a switch that is linear and silent, thanks to the use of silicone dampeners.
This will make it ideal for use at the office or at home if you don’t want to disturb the people around you. There will also be the include of doubleshot ABS keycaps (which helps improve the durability of the keycaps for day-to-day use), and also brighter Razer Chroma lighting. There will also be dedicated media keys and a digital roller.
The difference between the models is that the full-sized version is pretty much what you can expect from a keyboard you see at schools or at offices, while the TKL model does away with the number pad which helps create a smaller footprint on your desk. The BlackWidow V3 is priced at $140 for the full-sized model, and $100 for the TKL one.
