The is the successor to the original Vantage and has been designed for those who participate in triathlons. This is thanks to built-in features that are designed to help athletes recover, train, and sleep through features like FuelWise, Hill Splitter, and the Komoot turn-by-turn navigation system.
Users will also be able to personalize things like their heart rate, speed, and power zones, meaning that the watch can offer up training tips and advice based on what you are looking to do. Polar has also designed the Vantage V2 in an aluminum casing that they claim is 21% lighter than its predecessor, so wearing it for extended periods of time shouldn’t be an issue.
The Vantage V2 also boasts a 40 hour full power GPS battery, but it can be pushed to as much as 100 hours using Polar’s power-saving tools. The Vantage V2 will also come with the usual host of smartwatch-related features, although at a price of $500, it is clearly designed for those who are looking to take their fitness seriously.
