Microsoft Edge Now Lets You Compare Prices While You Shop

One of the joys of shopping online is that you get to browse multiple retailers at the same time to find yourself the best deal. This is versus physical retail stores and check out the prices one at a time, which can be a time-consuming process and could take you days, or even weeks to find the best deal.

The good news is that if you are hoping to make shopping online a better experience, you might want to consider switching over to Edge. This is because Microsoft has recently introduced an update in which the browser will now come with a price comparison tool built into the browser itself.

This means that as you browse the web, you’ll be able to quickly and easily check the prices of a product you want against other retailers to find the best possible price you can get. You can even create a Collection which compiles a list of products you plan to buy and save them for later.

This is a pretty nifty tool to have within a browser itself and makes Edge a bit more compelling to use. The browser has been revamped and is built on Chromium, the same platform that Google uses for Chrome, so if this doesn’t give Edge and edge, we don’t know what will. Do note that this price comparison tool is currently only available for US retailers, but we expect that it should be expanded to cover more regions in the future.
