Aside from the keyboard, the mouse is another peripheral that we use often in our daily work or school activities, and as such, it is actually important that you choose one that’s comfortable to use, especially if you anticipate that you’ll be spending a lot of time using it. If you’re in the market for a new computer mouse, Logitech has something that might be of interest to you.
The company has unveiled the ERGO M575 Wireless Trackball Mouse which based on the photo and the name, pretty much gives it away. The trackball design might have been an early iteration of the mouse and was included in laptops way, way back in the day, but it has since seen a bit of a revival where there are some users who claim that it is better to use than a traditional mouse.
The ERGO M575 seems to combine the best of both worlds, where it comes in the familiar shape of a mouse, but also offers a trackball for those who prefer using it. The mouse comes with standard left and right click options, a scroll wheel, and an additional two programmable buttons that can be configured using Logitech’s software.
The mouse is a wireless mouse and supports Bluetooth LE, but there is an included dongle that lets you connect it to a PC via a 2.4GHz wireless connection. The mouse is priced at $50 and is available for purchase on Logitech’s website.
