iPhone 13 Could Come With 1TB Of Storage

Apple’s iPhone storage currently caps out at 512GB and there is no way to expand on it as the iPhones do not support storage expansion via microSD cards like some Android phones do.  However, for those who feel that 512GB is still not enough, you might want to keep an eye out for the iPhone 13.

This is because according to Jon Prosser, he claims that Apple could introduce a 1TB model to its iPhone lineup. Prosser does not mention which models will be getting the 1TB upgrade, but given that the iPhone 12 was just announced, it’s probably safe to assume that he’s talking about the 2021 models, which presumably will be known as the iPhone 13.

Given that smartphone cameras these days are becoming increasingly capable and can take higher-resolution photos, HDR photos, 4K video, and so on, storage will definitely fill up pretty fast for those who want to shoot at maximum resolution all the time, so 1TB of storage will definitely come in handy.

However, we’d hate to think how much Apple will charge for such a smartphone. Right now, the 512GB iPhone 12 Pro Max, which is the current top-of-the-line model, is priced at $1,400, so chances are a 1TB model could easily push the phone’s price to around $1,600, if not more.
