Now that Apple is no longer including the EarPods with their iPhones, it means that if you want to listen to music on the go, you’re going to need to buy a new pair, if you don’t own one already. The EarPods have never really been known to be that good in terms of audio. While functional, they don’t necessarily sound particularly good.
However, Apple has since unveiled the Beats Flex earphones. These earphones are part of the Beats brand that is owned by Apple and could be a good alternative to the EarPods. We say “good” because these will most likely sound better than the EarPods, but they are also relatively affordable at just $50.
Plus they are also wireless which means that you don’t need to deal with cables or adapters to get it to work with the iPhone. They feature a similar neckband design to the BeatsX and also come with magnetic earbuds that can pause/play music when they are connected/disconnected from each other.
They also boast an impressive 12 hour battery life, a new acoustic driver, and also an improved microphone. While it probably won’t deliver audiophile grade quality, at $50 it does seem like a pretty reasonable price and could be a better option than the EarPods.
