This is something that Apple envisions its future smart glasses can do, at least that’s based on a patent discovered by Patently Apple. In the patent, it is found that Apple has an idea for its smart glasses in which users can quickly compare products side-by-side by looking at it and through the lenses of its wearable.
According to Apple, the method we mentioned at the start of the article isn’t very efficient and can take more time than necessary, which we agree. In addition to comparing things like pricing, the patent also describes how it can pull up information on a product, like if it’s a food product or medicine, it can show ingredients and possibly even effectiveness, ratings, reviews, and so on.
It is an interesting idea and could almost make the argument for smart glasses, but whether or not it will be as effective as Apple plans remains to be seen. The company has long been rumored to be developing its own pair of smart glasses, but when exactly they will debut is really anyone’s guess.
