Prosser claims that Apple is expected to finish testing on the 6th of November, and according to Prosser, he states that typically following the completion of successful testing, Apple ships these products out within 30 days. Given that Apple usually announces products and has them ready to ship out in the next week or so, the mid-November announcement actually makes a lot of sense.
The AirTags, for those unfamiliar, is a Bluetooth tracking accessory that is said to be similar to Tile. However, one of the advantages of the AirTags is that it uses ultrawideband frequency, which is said to be more accurate compared to Bluetooth, which means that users will be able to locate devices attached to the AirTags with near pinpoint-like accuracy.
All final performance testing for AirTags (B389) will be 100% completed on November 6.
After this testing, products typically ship within 30 days.
Sure looks like we’re getting AirTags for sure at the November event.

The accessory was originally rumored for announcement alongside the iPhone 12, but it was later “delayed” to 2021, but then a more recent rumor changed that date to November. Needless to say that this should be taken with a grain of salt for now, but if the November date holds true, we should have more details in the coming weeks.
