This makes the Series S one of the company’s cheapest consoles to date and is on par with the pricing of the base Xbox One S when it was first launched, but still slightly more expensive than the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition which is $50 cheaper. It’s actually impressive that Microsoft has managed to maintain the pricing on the Series S, especially when it is expected that the next-gen consoles will be more expensive than their predecessors.
