While the specs of the Galaxy A42 aren’t particularly impressive, its price tag and the fact that it supports 5G does make it a rather compelling device. We’re looking at the use of a 6.6-inch display with a HD resolution, a 20MP front-facing camera, and a quad camera setup on the back that includes a 48MP main shooter, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 5MP depth sensor.
Samsung stopped short of revealing the full specs of the phone, but according to the rumors and speculation, the handset will most likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 chipset and will be accompanied by 4GB of RAM and a 5,000mAh battery. Storage sizes are also expected to range between 64GB and 128GB.
As for the price, the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G will cost 369 euros and is expected to be initially available in Germany starting this November. There is no word on availability in other markets yet, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled.
