If you’ve yet to hop on the Nintendo Switch bandwagon, perhaps this latest edition of the console might pique your interest. Nintendo has recently unveiled a new limited edition Switch console that has been themed around Epic’s Fortnite Battle Royale with a new design on the dock and also new Joy-Con colors.
While Fortnite Switch bundles aren’t new, this is new in the sense that we’re actually getting a brand new colorway. It looks pretty nifty and even if you’re not a fan of Fortnite or don’t play the game, the blue and yellow Joy-Cons look pretty good, especially compared to some of the louder colors available for the Switch.
There is no difference in terms of hardware or performance with this bundle, but given that it is a Fortnite bundle, gamers will get a copy of the game preinstalled on the console, blue and yellow Joy-Cons, a dock for the Switch covered in a Fortnite motif, a Wildcat Bundle download code that will also include new outfits and 2,000 in V-Bucks.
At the moment, the console seems to have only been announced for Europe and Australia where they are priced at £260 and AUD$469 respectively, which when converted is roughly $340. It is expected to be made available on the 6th of November, and we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for a US release as well.
