With the upcoming Apple event next week, the company is expected to introduce the Series 6 and in turn, will retire the Series 3. However, the good news is that there will be a new model to take its place and according to a tweet by prolific leakster Jon Prosser, he claims that this new model will sport a similar design to the Apple Watch Series 4, except with some compromises in terms of features.
For those who were hoping to get a cheaper Apple Watch with ECG, you might be disappointed to learn that one of the compromises with this more affordable model is that ECG monitoring will not be a feature. It will also lack an always-on display, but otherwise it will sport the design of the Series 4 which has a slightly larger display.

Obviously Apple had to remove certain features to keep the price competitive, but it should still be a good buy for those who want an Apple Watch but want to save some money. Either way, we should have all the details next Tuesday, so check back with us then for the updates.
