Apple Fitness+ has also been designed to work with the Apple Watch, where when you start a workout video, it will sync with your Apple Watch where you’ll be able to check your health stats on the screen, like heart rate and so on. For example, during a fitness video, the trainer might ask you to check your heart rate, and the heart rate text on your screen will get bigger to highlight it.
It will be available on the iPhone and iPad, which according to Apple will make it easier for users to workout on the go, where as long as they have their iPhone and Apple Watch with them, they’ll be able to essentially workout just about anywhere. There will be a variety of fitness programs that are part of the service, so there should be something for everyone.
The new Apple Fitness+ service can be found in the Fitness app on the iPhone and iPad. It is priced at $9.99 a month, or $79.99 a year, making it a lot cheaper than a gym membership or hiring a personal trainer. New Apple Watch customers will also be getting a free 3 month trial.
