The other day, we reported that Apple could be announcing an upcoming event this week. It turns out that the rumors were right because on Apple’s YouTube page, the company has set a video to go live on the 15th of September which they have captioned “Time flies”. However, before you get too excited, this isn’t for the iPhone 12.
According to a tweet by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, it seems that this event will not be focused on the iPhone 12. Instead, it will see Apple announce new iPads and also the Apple Watch Series 6. As some have pointed out, this makes sense because if Apple were to announce all their products during the iPhone event, it would simply be too many things to cover.
I am told Apple won’t announce the iPhone until October. This is for the iPad and Apple Watch in all likelihood. https://t.co/pw1oVXVoaL

Plus there is a chance that some of the announcements could distract from the iPhone 12 as well. Of course, none of this can be confirmed yet, but we wouldn’t be surprised if it were true. Right now, the popular belief is that the iPhone 12 will most likely be announced in the second half of October.
Either way, we only have to wait until next week for the official details, so remember to mark the date down on your calendar and be sure to check back with us next Tuesday for more updates.
