However, not everyone appreciates the feature and many have called upon Netflix to at least allow them to disable it. While Netflix is certainly not doing away with the feature, they are at the very least introducing an option that will allow users to disable the trailers from autoplaying. The company claims that this is based on the feedback that they’ve gotten from their users.
If you’re not a fan of these autoplaying trailers, Netflix has a support page in which users can head on over if they’d like to learn how to disable it. It is a pretty simple and straightforward process and will take you seconds to turn it off.

Note that Netflix also supports the disabling of autoplaying the next episode. If you’re trying to cut down on your binge-watching habits, then this could also be another feature that you might want to take a look at. These changes should already be live so fire up your Netflix app and head on over to the settings to check it out.
