If you’ve been using Instagram for a long time, there’s a chance that you will end up following a bunch of people over the years. Some of the people you follow may have stopped posting since you followed them, or some of them might no longer post content that you are interested in, and thus you interact with them less and less.

The good news is that if you’re looking to trim some of the fat off your Instagram list, Instagram has announced a new feature that will make it easier for users to manage who they follow. This list will basically consist of a list of Instagram users that you follow that you least interact with, and when you tap on that, it’ll bring up all their usernames and then you can choose which to follow or unfollow.

There will also be a separate list for those that appear in your feed the most, in case some of those users post content that you might not be interested in, and you can then repeat the process of unfollowing them. However, it should be noted that you will still need to unfollow these users one by one, instead of being able to select multiple and unfollow them all at once.

So if you’ve built up an account where you’re following thousands of people, then it looks like you’ll be in for a very, very long night.
