According to the rumors, Fujifilm has a new camera in the works in the form of the Fujifilm X-T4 and that it could actually be announced towards the end of the month. We’re sure that while the specs of the camera have many curious, there is one thing we do not know yet, and that is how much it will cost.
Now according to a report from Fuji Rumors, they claim to have been told by a source that the X-T4 could actually be priced starting at $1,700. If you are a bit disappointed, we can totally understand that. This is because with the X-T4’s predecessor, the Fujifilm X-T3, the camera was actually priced at $1,500 for the body-only, making it the cheapest camera in the entire X-T series lineup.
We’re not sure if the $1,700 price is including a lens or if it is just for the body-only, but if it is the latter, then we’re sure that there will be some photographers who might be disappointed. Also if the price is true, we can’t be sure why Fujifilm decided to increase the price after decreasing it for the previous model.
Perhaps there will be a bunch of huge improvements made to the X-T4 over its predecessor that might warrant an increase in price, but since this isn’t official information, take it with a grain of salt for now. The Fujifilm X-T4 is currently rumored to be announced on the 26th of February, so check back with us then for more updates, if there are any to be had.
