If you’re a fan of the Far Cry series and you’re wondering when the next Far Cry game will be launched, you might be interested to learn that according to a rumor, it seems that there is a good chance we might be seeing Far Cry 6 released by March 2021.
This comes from a tweet by Kotaku’s Jason Schreier, who has in the past been pretty accurate with his predictions and claims. Ubisoft had recently confirmed three titles that they will be released between April 2020 and March 2021, which consists of Watch Dogs Legion, Gods and Monsters, and Rainbow Six Quarantine.
The company had hinted that they would be releasing five games in total, and only mentioned three of them. Schreier’s tweet later said that the remaining two games will be a new Assassin’s Creed title and the next installment in the Far Cry franchise, and that those who were hoping that it would be Splinter Cell would be disappointed.
Anyone holding out hope for Splinter Cell is, once again, going to be disappointed. Sorry! (It’s AC and Far Cry.) https://t.co/7hKDV3y5QS

The last time we saw a Far Cry game was back in 2018, so for a new Far Cry title to be released in 2021, about 3 years after the previous release, kind of makes sense. Needless to say that since none of this can be confirmed yet, it’s probably best to take it with a grain of salt for now.
