These are essentially shortcuts, which it seems that Google could now be interested in “borrowing” for Chrome OS. This was discovered in a recent code change that was submitted that revealed that Google could be working on a hot corners feature of their own for Chrome OS, where based on its description, it sounds exactly the same as the feature of macOS.
It reads, “If enabled, the user can configure actions for corners of the display.” Unfortunately, that’s all we have to go with so it is unclear as to whether or not it will be an exact copy of the macOS feature, or if it could be slightly different with Google’s own take on things. Google has stated in the past that they are not opposed to borrowing features from other platforms, so this shouldn’t really come as a surprise.
As to when the new feature will be implemented is anyone’s guess, but if you’re a Chrome OS user, it could be worth keeping an eye out for.
