It looks like its successor is doing the same, where according to the latest research data from Consumer Intelligence Research Partners, it seems that the iPhone 11 is outdoing its more expensive “Pro” siblings. According to the numbers, the iPhone 11 reportedly accounted for 39% of Apple’s US sales for Q4 2019.
It outsold the Pro models where the iPhone XS from 2018 placed second, and the 2019 iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max placed third and fourth place respectively. It’s not surprising that the iPhone 11 is doing as well as it is. This is because while there are certain differences in specs and features, it isn’t big enough for some customers to justify the huge jump in price.
Apple has also been rumored to launch the iPhone SE 2 in the coming months, an even more budget iPhone, so it will be interesting to see how well that phone does.
