Undoubtedly, you already have the ability to cast or mirror your smartphone screen to a TV. Of course, it depends on the smartphone and the TV as well.
But, for most of the users, casting your smartphone screen is possible with any type of smart TV that you own.
However, this time, it looks like Samsung might have something more useful for casting your smartphones to a TV.
As per the reports by a Dutch publication LetsGoDigital, Samsung filed a trademark with the European Union Intellectual Property Office for a new software feature – Samsung Tap View.
So, as the name of the feature hints, you just need a simple tap in order to cast or mirror your smartphone screen on to your TV. Essentially, it looks like Samsung is working to make the screencasting feature effortless.
In addition to the feature, you could also be able to cast multiple smartphones to a single TV. We are not sure of how it works – but it should be a promising feature if it is going to be introduced officially soon.
Even though we do not know if it is going to be a device-exclusive feature – this should be a useful addition to a lot of users who prefer to cast their smartphone screen to a TV. What do you think?
