Gamer Creates Real-Life Overwatch Loot Box To Propose To Girlfriend

When it comes to proposals, everyone is trying to come up with something that is truly special and unique to them that will also be extremely memorable. In the case of gamer and producer on Fallout 3 and Halo 4, Gavin Carter, he decided to put together a real-life Overwatch loot box to propose to his girlfriend.

That being said, the entire affair did not come cheap where he commissioned the folks at Optimistic Geometry to create the loot box for him. It cost £4000 and took about 12-months, but the end result seems to be worth it as this is a pretty impressive creation, plus his girlfriend also said yes which is a good thing, making it all the more worth the time and effort that it went into creating it.

According to Optimistic Geometry, it seemed that the creation of this box was no easy feat. The company writes, “This box was a real challenge to build, you can see just how densely packed with motors and cables it is. 13 Sevos, 8 Motors, hundreds of LEDs, 8 Electronics boards, nearly 50 meters of wiring and 30+ limit switches. It can even be controlled via bluetooth.”

In any case, if you have a few minutes to spare, you can check out the video above for the actual proposal, and the videos below to see the box in action and how it was all put together.
