Come early 2020, it is expected that Huawei will be taking the wraps off its next flagship smartphone, the Huawei P40 and the P40 Pro. That being said, given that we’re nearly towards the end of the year, it also means that it is ripe for the rumor mills to start churning out P40-related rumors and leaks.
In fact, in a post shared by GizChina, they have published what is allegedly a render of the upcoming Huawei P40 Pro. Unfortunately, the render doesn’t really tell us much about the phone’s design save for a couple of points. For example, it shows that Huawei is expected to continue maintaining its curved display on the edge of the phone.
It also shows off the camera bump on the back where it is believed that Huawei could include as many as four cameras. Other than that, it’s impossible to tell what kind of design Huawei could be going for, so take this leak with a massive grain of salt for now. As for specs, we expect that Huawei will continue using its own Kirin series of chipsets.
It is also assumed that Huawei will still not be able to use Google Play Services so unless the US and China can come to some kind of trade agreement from now until then, the Huawei P40 series will find itself in a similar position to that of the Mate 30 series.
