The report goes on to claim that the camera will most likely be announced ahead of Photokina 2020 in May. Canon is also expected to announce more than one camera, where one model will the EOS R Mark II and the other will be the EOS Rs, which last we heard could be sporting support for dual memory cards.
We’re not sure what the other differences are between the EOS R Mark II and the EOS Rs, but we have heard that one of the cameras could actually come with a hybrid EF/RF mount. This means that the camera will be able to mount EF lenses that are typically found on Canon’s DSLR cameras without the need for a mount.
In any case, take it with a grain of salt for now, but either way Canon Rumors states that their source is expected to provide details about the specs so hopefully we’ll have more information soon.
