The analyst claims that Apple could choose to launch iPhones twice a year, where the first launch could take place in the summer and then followed by the fall event. We’re not sure how Apple plans on splitting up the launches, but it is possible that one launch could focus on a low-end iPhone while the other focuses on the higher-end flagship handsets.
In fact, this is not the first time we’ve heard about this. According to the rumors, Apple is set to launch the iPhone SE 2 next year. It is expected to be launched in the early part of the year which means that technically, Apple will have two iPhone launches next year, assuming the iPhone SE 2 rumor is true.
Granted, it will be earlier than the predicted summer launch, so we’ll just have to wait and see. It also makes sense that it could take place in the summer as that is when WWDC takes place, so Apple could kill two birds with one stone, but until that is confirmed, take it with a grain of salt for now.
