After Pokémon Go and a few more AR games coming to the scene, it is time for Minecraft to step in.
Minecraft Earth is a real-world Augmented Reality game that is Microsoft’s recent experiment for the mobile gaming community.
In case you were not aware, Minecraft happens to be one of the most popular games with a huge player base in the U.S alone. Now, with the launch of Minecraft’s mobile port as an AR game, a lot of players should be eager to try it out.
In this game, you will observe Minecraft world additions to your real-world which makes it appealing. It also lets you collect boxes and critters to help you build things.
You can also initiate combat encounters with your friends or have the option to do it alone. The AR tech seems to be working very well when you try it outside – so no issues spotted so far.
For now, only a limited number of countries can directly get it installed and others will have to pre-register on Android (or wait for it to pop up on your App Store).
You can find it listed for the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, South Korea, and a few others. It should roll out to all the other countries by the end of this year.
Get started by installing it on Android or iOS.
