Mario Kart Tour launched for Android and iOS last month. Now, Nintendo has confirmed with a tweet that a real-time multiplayer beta test has been planned for December.
It should be an interesting addition to the Mario Kart Tour game in general. However, there is a catch.
You will be able to access the real-time multiplayer beta test only if you are a Gold Pass subscriber of Mario Kart Tour. The Gold Pass will cost you about $5 per month if you want to get the subscription.
A real-time multiplayer beta test is planned for December and will be available to #MarioKartTour Gold Pass subscribers.

It is also worth noting that the price for Gold Pass subscription is subject to change. So, it might get cheaper or expensive (we cannot be too sure).
In case you are not aware, the Gold Pass subscription gives you several perks which include gold gifts upon race tour completion.
In addition to this, you will also get special in-game gold badges from Gold Challenges.
Also, if you are a first-time subscriber, you get a two-week free trial period to see if the subscription is worth it.
So, considering all of this, you may choose to get the subscription to try out the beta test of the new real-time multiplayer mode coming to Mario Kart Tour.
