Last week, Tesla took the wraps off the Cybertruck, it’s new electric vehicle that featured a reinforced body and supposedly shatterproof windows. Unfortunately, during the demonstration, its windows actually broke which was rather embarrassing for the company, but also slightly hilarious.
Now it looks like the folks at LEGO have taken the opportunity to join in on the joke by posting a photo of its own “truck” which according to the caption, “The evolution of the truck is here. Guaranteed shatterproof.” As you can see in the video above, it’s basically a LEGO brick on wheels.
However, given the numerous jokes and memes about how stepping on LEGO pieces is a new kind of hell, we get what LEGO is getting at here. It is a pretty hilarious meme and we have to wonder if Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk might be interested in challenging LEGO’s own “shatterproof” truck in a tug-of-war, although we think that we know who might win!
Jokes aside, Tesla’s Cybertruck has managed to garner a fair amount of interest with its futuristic design. According to Musk, he claims that the company has since received more than 140,000 orders for the truck which is only expected to roll off the production lines in 2021/2022.
