You Will Soon Be Able To Buy A Porsche Car Online

Cars in general are not cheap, so while carmakers have websites where you can browse the company’s portfolio, you’ll still need to make your way down to a dealership to buy a car. However, companies like Tesla have challenged that tradition by offering customers the opportunity to buy their cars online.

Perhaps in a bid to help customers feel less intimidated about walking into a Porsche showroom, the company has announced that over in the US and Germany, they will be trialing a new pilot program which will give customers the opportunity to purchase a car online through the company’s website.

Of course, you will still need to go down to the dealer to pick up your purchase, but overall, you can expect to complete the bulk of the process on the internet. This includes documentation, payment details, and you can also send in photos if you’re looking to trade-in your old car for a new one.

According to Klaus Zellmer, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America, “Porsche is always looking for new ways to meet customer expectations. For our dealerships, who are at the core of our strategic initiatives, we think this blend of digital and physical interaction with customers will only strengthen their business.”
